TESTIMONIAL
Thank you for sending along Murray’s report. Here are some comments on this document, and some other thoughts on future development of the Mill. If you wish, I would be willing to send a letter of support to Council, in that regard, you may wish to send them a copy of Murray’s report.
Murray Miller’s Report:
I am extremely pleased with this report. This is exactly the kind of document that I was thinking of when I suggested that you need to get a proper assessment of the building undertaken by professionals with proven heritage experience. These people have worked on some of Saskatchewan’s best-known heritage buildings, and done excellent work. They understand historic construction, how it performed when originally built, how it has performed over the years due to alteration and deterioration, and how it can continue to perform in the future with some modifications. The recommendations provided by Murray and his team of engineering and masonry consultants are excellent. Both you and City Council couldn’t ask for better. Now Council can make a truly informed decision.
Congratulations on securing an excellent structural heritage assessment.
